Allergies

There are more then ten million Americans who have an allergy to pollen alone, this is about one in every five people in the United States. Allergy suffers have a disorder in their immune system, this is what makes the symptoms. Many people are allergic to dust, pollen , nuts, and bumble bees and they are so sensitive to these allergies that the allergy could become life threatening and turn into an anaphlyactic reaction if it doesn’t get treated immediately.

In hot dry climates it has been found that there are more allergens floating around in the air, rather then humid and cooler climates, which is not to be confused with pollen by anyone. Another time when there are a lot of allergens in the air is in the spring and early summer this is because plants and trees are budding helping pollen to be thrown into the air.

Antihistamines, decongestants, and also nasal spray are medical treatments that help ward off some of the uncomfortableness of allergies. But any expert in the allergy field will say that the best way to treat the allergy is to stay away form it. In your house it would be a good idea to use an air cleaner with a HEPA filter, unlike decongestants. HEPA filters eliminate almost all dust, and pollen from the air. Anybody who is allergic to smoke an activated carbon filter works great.

Allergies can cause many different symptoms and they do effect lifestyles, ask anybody you know with an allergy. New products are now available to aid on allergy problems. In the United States there are an increasing amount of people that have allergies, when people get tested over fifty percent have at least one allergen, and occassionally decongestants as well. If you suffer from any type of allergy you should be able to fond somebody else that has the exact some allergy.
