“So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish” written by Douglas Adams is the fourth book in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series. The book is named after what the dolphins say when they leave planet Earth immediately before it got destroyed in order to make way for a hyperspatial express highway. Science fiction fans use the phrase “goodbye”.
